Agartala, Feb. 16 -- The state-owned exploration giant ONGC has entered into an agreement with Tripura government yesterday to fund for developing two model bio-villages in the state to supplement the Chief Minister's vision to make Tripura a model of development.

The officials of Directorate of Bio-Technology have signed the agreement in presence of Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma and Minister for Science, Technology and Environment Sudip Roy Barman in a ceremony here.

The first bio-village project will be set up at Amtali village under Charilam RD Block near Agartala and another will be at Echamuah under Agartala Municipal Corporation. At least 280 members of 85 households belonging to farming community of villages would be benef...
