India, April 3 -- One of Amazon's ambitious satellite internet venture, Project Kuiper, is gearing up to set a milestone as it prepares to launch its first full-scale deployment of satellites. This mission, named as "KA-01" (Kuiper Atlas 1), is a significant step toward providing global broadband internet service.
Project Kuiper's KA-01 mission will launch aboard a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The mission is set for April 9, 2025, and it will carry 27 satellites into low Earth orbit at an altitude of 280 miles (450 kilometers).
