Bangkok, Jan. 23 -- Vietnam's para athletes continued to make a strong impression at the 13th ASEAN Para Games in Thailand, delivering outstanding performances in swimming and powerlifting. A major highlight came on January 23 morning, when swimmer Vi Thi Hang produced a remarkable display to win the gold medal in the women's 100m backstroke (S6-S7). She clocked 1 minute 43.20 seconds, not only finishing well ahead of her rivals but also setting a new Games record for the event. The silver and bronze medals went to host athletes Phimsan Nathee and Chanin Patcharin.
