Hanoi, Oct. 8 -- The Southeast Asian Esports Federation (SEAEF) was officially established on October 8, bringing together 11 member countries from across the region, according to the Vietnam Recreational and Electronic Sports Association (VIRESA).

To enhance cooperation, promote growth, and unlock the full potential of esports in Southeast Asia, representatives of the participating nations convened to elect the first Executive Committee of SEAEF for the 2025-2029 term. Do Viet Hung, President of VIRESA, was elected as the Federation's first President.
