Seoul, June 27 -- The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) to expand the presence of Korean food (K-food) in Southeast Asia.

According to aT, this marks the first time the Republic of Korea's state-run enterprise has collaborated with a foreign airline to promote food exports. Under the MoU, the two sides will jointly introduce K-food meals on Vietnam Airlines flights.

The cooperation also includes promotional activities, with Vietnam Airlines set to air Korean culinary advertisements on in-flight entertainment screens and promote K-food at airport lounges.
