Cao Bang, Oct. 17 -- Following the severe damage caused by Typhoons Bualoi and Matmo, the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang has swiftly rolled out relief and recovery efforts to help residents stabilise their lives.
According to Vu Khac Quang, Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF Cao Bang), thousands of individuals, organisations and businesses nationwide have responded to the committee's appeal for assistance. To date, donations have reached over 63 billion VND (nearly 2.4 million USD), along with 500 tonnes of rice and a wide range of essential goods, including food, medicine and daily necessities for disaster-affected residents.
