New Delhi, Dec. 31 -- At 0300 hours on the 14th, the march started, and by dawn light, the forward assembly area west of Wachoke was occupied. During the day, the area was directly under enemy artillery observation, making movement impossible. The battalion was instructed to secure Kalewali at 1800 hours.
