New Delhi, Jan. 29 -- BonV Aero, the homegrown deep-tech aerospace company, has developed the 'Air Orca', a heavy lift unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed for operations in extreme altitudes and freezing temperatures. The aircraft, which set a world record by lifting a 30 kg payload at 19,024 feet at Umling La Pass, is currently being deployed by the armed forces for high altitude logistics. Discussions are underway to explore a dual-use framework that would allow the same drones to serve both military and civilian operations.
