QAZIGUND, March 20 -- At least nine tourists were injured after the vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Thursday.
An official told KNO that the accident took place near Qazigund in South Kashmir's Kulgam district.
He said a tempo traveler (number PB01B-7720) on its way from Jammu to Srinagar hit a divider near the Power Grid Station Nipora leading to injuries to the passengers.
"The injured were rushed to GMC Anantnag for treatment, " the official said, adding that all the wounded passengers are stable.
