Uzbekistan, Sept. 29 -- The traditional international chess tournament in Shusha, Azerbaijan, dedicated to the memory of Vugar Gashimov, has concluded. This year marked the tenth edition of the prestigious event, featuring eight grandmasters, including Uzbekistan's Nodirbek Abdusattorov.
In the blitz and rapid contests, Russian player Yan Nepomnyashchy, competing under the FIDE flag, claimed first place with 19 points. Nodirbek Abdusattorov secured second place with 18 points, displaying his skill in both formats.
Notably, Abdusattorov was the winner of this tournament in 2022.
