ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,472,335, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to YMIR GENOMICS LLC (Cambridge, Mass.).

"Reduction of bioparticle levels of an organism" was invented by Patrick Shannon Pendergrast (Cambridge, Mass.), Robert Scott Pendergrast (Chatham, N.J.), John Stephen Pendergrast (Stockholm, N.J.) and Anna Irmina Markowska (Brookline, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Compositions and methods for the application of non-toxic bioparticle (e.g., extracellular vesicle (EV)) absorbing materials (e.g., non-toxic exosome reducing materials) for prophylactic, therapeutic, validation and/or experimental purposes are provided."
