ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,269,977, issued on April 8, was assigned to Yissum Research Development Co. of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Ltd. (Israel).

"Colloidal semiconductor nanostructures" was invented by Uri Banin (Mevasseret Zion, Israel), Jiabin Cui (Jerusalem), Yossi Panfil (Jerusalem), Nir Waiskopf (Jerusalem) and Meirav Oded (Rehovot, Israel).
