ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,385,055, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research (Cambridge, Mass.).

"Compositions and methods for production of salidroside, icariside D2, and precursors of salidroside and icariside D2" was invented by Michael Torrens-Spence (Cambridge, Mass.) and Jing-Ke Weng (Belmont, Mass.).
