US Patent Issued to Wastefront AS on Feb. 25 for "Desulfurization process of waste tire pyrolysis oil to produce fuel" (Swedish, Norwegian, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,234,413, issued on Feb. 25, was assigned to Wastefront AS (Oslo, Norway).

"Desulfurization process of waste tire pyrolysis oil to produce fuel" was invented by Henrik Selstam (Molnlycke, Sweden), Jorge Moreno Trejo (Fornebu, Norway) and John William Hemmings (Fripp Island, S.C.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method and system desulfurizes fuel produced from pyrolysis of waste tires and includes hydroprocessing tire pyrolysis oil to desulfurize the tire pyrolysis oil and obtain a hydroprocessed pyrolysis oil.
