ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,344,666, issued on July 1, was assigned to Washington University (St. Louis) and The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois (Urbana, Ill.).

"PDGF mutants and methods of use thereof" was invented by Princess Imoukhuede (St. Louis) and Erik Procko (Urbana, Ill.).
