ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,419,934, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to Wake Forest University Health Sciences (Winston-Salem, N.C.).
"Molecular signature of cancer" was invented by Waldemar Debinski (Winston-Salem, N.C.), Jill Wykosky (La Jolla, Calif.) and Denise Mazess Herpai (Winston-Salem, N.C.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides compounds, compositions, and methods for detecting, diagnosing and treating cancers such as glioblastoma multiforme."
The patent was filed on Nov. 16, 2021, under Application No. 17/527,835.
