ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,123,022, issued on Oct. 22, was assigned to Vitti Labs (Liberty, Mo.).

"Mesenchymal stem cell compositions and methods of making" was invented by Philipp Vitti (Kansas City, Mo.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosures herein are directed to first compositions comprising exosomes and extracellular matrix components and their use thereof. Also described are methods and kits wherein these first compositions are packaged and used with second compositions comprising mesenchymal stem cells. The first and second compositions are derived from the same tissue source using tangential flow filtration."
