ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,226,423, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, Va.), Durect Corp. (Cupertino, Calif.) and The United States Government as Represented by The Department of Veterans Affairs (Washington).
