"Fasting-mimicking diet promotes cancer-free survival in acute lymphoblastic leukemia models" was invented by Valter D. Longo (Playa del Rey, Calif.) and Roberta Buono (Newport Beach, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for treating leukemia and in particular, lymphoblastic leukemia is provided.
