ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,295,960, issued on May 13, was assigned to UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH ALABAMA FOUNDATION FOR RESEARCH AND COMMERCIALIZATION (Mobile, Ala.) and CANAL HOUSE BIOSCIENCES LLC (Providence, R.I.).

"Cancer treatment" was invented by Robert W. Sobol (Providence, R.I.) and Jay George (Gaithersburg, Md.).
