ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,433,876, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER (Rochester, N.Y.).
"Septin inhibitors for treatment of cancers" was invented by Rakesh K. Singh (Barrington, R.I.), Kyu K. Kim (Rochester, N.Y.), Rachael Turner (Mendon, N.Y.) and Richard G. Moore (Victor, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides novel compounds, compositions, and methods for modulating one or more septin proteins, e.g., septin-2. Such compounds and compositions are useful for the treatment of a cancer, e.g., endometrial, pancreatic, lung, breast or ovarian cancer, such as serous and ovarian clear cell carcinoma."
