ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,296,200, issued on May 13, was assigned to University of Puerto Rico (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and SIL Technologies LLC (Rincon, Puerto Rico).

"Method and system for increasing the gas-dissolution rate of a bubble in a liquid media via non-invasive resonant acoustic pressure" was invented by Silvina Cancelos (Mayaguez, Puerto Rico), Manuel Rivera Bengochea (San Juan, Puerto Rico), Edwin Lopez Ramos (Hatillo, Puerto Rico) and William Garcia (Mayaguez, Puerto Rico).
