ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,414,973, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to University of Pittsburgh-Of the Commonwealth System of Higher Education (Pittsburgh) and The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia).

"Antigenically stealthed oncolytic viruses" was invented by Joseph C. Glorioso III (Pittsburgh), Gary H. Cohen (Havertown, Pa.), Doina Atanasiu (Norwood, Pa.), Tina Marie Cairns (Warminster, Pa.), Bonnie Lynn Hall (Allison Park, Pa.), Justus B. Cohen (Allison Park, Pa.) and Ceren Tuzmen (Pittsburgh).
