ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,400,850, issued on Aug. 26, was assigned to University of New Hempshire (Durham, N.H.) and Thermo Finnigan LLC (San Jose, N.M.).

"Capillary emitter with electrospray ionization providing femtoliter to nanoliter flow rates" was invented by Anyin Li (Somersworth, N.H.), Linfan Li (San Jose, Calif.) and Mengtian Li (Durham, N.H.).
