ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,411,147, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to Universite Laval (Quebec, Canada).

"Erythrocyte-derived extracellular vesicles and proteins associated with such vesicles as biomarkers for Parkinson's disease" was invented by Francesca Cicchetti (Quebec, Canada) and Eric Boilard (Quebec, Canada).
