ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,334,637, issued on June 17, was assigned to Tyco Electronics Holdings (Bermuda) No. 7 Ltd. (Taipei, Tuvalu), Tyco Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd (Singapore) and National University of Singapore (Singapore).

"Metasurface antenna" was invented by Sin-Hooi Cheah (Taipei, Taiwan), Kim Hai Wong (Singapore), Wei Liu (Singapore) and Zhining Chen (Singapore).
