ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,289,180, issued on April 29, was assigned to TOYOTA MOTOR NORTH AMERICA INC. (Plano, Texas) and TOYOTA JIDOSHA K.K. (Aichi-Ken, Japan).
