ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,344,150, issued on July 1, was assigned to Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America Inc. (Plano, Texas) and Toyota Jidosha K.K. (Toyota, Japan).

"Floor mats for vehicles and vehicles including floor mats" was invented by Lauren M. Abro (West Bloomfield, Mich.) and Yuko N. Gidcumb (West Bloomfield, Mich.).
