US Patent Issued to The Yokohama Rubber on Nov. 4 for "Epoxy resin composition for fiber-reinforced composite material, prepreg, and fiber-reinforced composite material" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,460,043, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to The Yokohama Rubber Co. LTD. (Tokyo).

"Epoxy resin composition for fiber-reinforced composite material, prepreg, and fiber-reinforced composite material" was invented by Yukihiro Kamimura (Kanagawa, Japan) and Tomohiro Ito (Kanagawa, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An epoxy resin composition for a fiber-reinforced composite material includes: (a) one or more epoxy resins; (b) an aromatic diamine compound; (c) a dicyandiamide; (d) a urea compound; and (e) an amine adduct compound, blended in specific ranges."
