ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,534,517, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to The University of Vermont and State Agricultural College (Burlington, Vt.) and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, N.C.).

"Highly specific zika neutralizing human antibodies" was invented by Sean Diehl (Shelburne, Vt.), Aravinda de Silva (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Matthew Collins (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Ben McElvany (Burlington, Vt.) and Huy Tu (Burlington, Vt.).
