ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,891, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to The University of Tokyo (Japan).
"Amphiphilic poly (amino acid), block copolyer using the amphiphilic poly (amino acid), and complex including the amphiphilic poly (amino acid) or the block copolymer and nucleic acid" was invented by HyunJin Kim (Tokyo), Kanjiro Miyata (Tokyo) and Kazunori Kataoka (Tokyo).
