US Patent Issued to The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania on May 6 for "Lung disease models on a chip" (Pennsylvania, Washington Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,291,699, issued on May 6, was assigned to The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia).

"Lung disease models on a chip" was invented by Dongeun Huh (Villanova, Pa.), Mark Mondrinos (Philadelphia) and Woo Yul Byun (Richland, Wash.).
