ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,252,534, issued on March 18, was assigned to THE SCRIPPS RESEARCH INSTITUTE (La Jolla, Calif.).

"Humanized anti-CD3 antibodies, conjugates and uses thereof" was invented by Chanhyuk Kim (Daejeon, South Korea), Travis Young (La Jolla, Calif.), Minsoo Kim (San Diego), Jennifer Ma (Los Angeles), Leonard Presta (San Francisco) and Peter G. Schultz (La Jolla, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides for humanized anti-CD3 antibodies and conjugates thereof. These conjugates may be useful in the treatment of conditions such as prostate cancer."
