ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,270,958, issued on April 8, was assigned to THE RESEARCH FOUNDATION FOR THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK (Albany, N.Y.), UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE RESEARCH FOUNDATION (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Georgia Tech Research Corp. (Atlanta).
"Scintillating glass ceramics for use in flat panel x-ray detectors, flat panel x-ray detectors and imaging systems" was invented by Anthony R.
