ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,227,190, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to The Regents of The University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Mich.).
"Grip-force sensing and shape-changing steering wheel" was invented by Brent Gillespie (Ann Arbor, Mich.) and Akshay Bhardwaj (Ann Arbor, Mich.).
