ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,411,192, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.).

"Spin-based detection of terahertz and sub-terahertz electromagnetic radiation" was invented by Jing Shi (Riverside, Calif.) and Junxue Li (Riverside, Calif.).
