ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,474,462, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.).

"Integrated wideband stepped-chirp radar sensor" was invented by Hamidreza Aghasi (Irvine, Calif.) and Payam Heydari (Irvine, Calif.).
