ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,343,337, issued on July 1, was assigned to The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.).
"Compounds for increasing neural plasticity" was invented by David E. Olson (Davis, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides a method of using non-hallucinogenic analogs of psychedelic compounds for increasing neural plasticity of the neuronal cell, and a method of using thereof for treating a brain disorder."
The patent was filed on Sept. 29, 2017, under Application No. 16/337,698.
