US Patent Issued to The Regents of the University of California on Feb. 3 for "Biosynthetic platform for the production of olivetolic acid and analogues of olivetolic acid" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,540,341, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.).

"Biosynthetic platform for the production of olivetolic acid and analogues of olivetolic acid" was invented by Yi Tang (Arcadia, Calif.), Mengbin Chen (Los Angeles) and Ikechukwu Okorafor (Los Angeles).
