ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,378,193, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to The Regents of The University of California (Oakland, Calif.).
"Anti-arrhythmicity agents" was invented by Jau-Nian Chen (Los Angeles), Ohyun Kwon (Los Angeles), Jie Huang (Los Angeles), Hirohito Shimizu (Los Angeles), Kui Lu (Los Angeles), Johann Schredelseker (Los Angeles) and Yi Chiao Fan (Los Angeles).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Agents, compositions, and methods for regulating cardiac rhythmicity are disclosed."
The patent was filed on Jan. 11, 2022, under Application No. 17/573,442.
