ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,378,286, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.), ETH-Zurich (Zurich, Switzerland), Virginia Tech Intellectual Properties Inc. (Blacksburg, Va.) and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, N.C.).
