ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,351,639, issued on July 8, was assigned to The Medical College of Wisconsin Inc. (Milwaukee) and University of Virginia Patent Foundation (Charlottesville, Va.).

"Anti-CD30 antibodies" was invented by Jeffrey A. Medin (Shorewood, Wis.), Mary L Faber (New Berlin, Wis.), Everett R. Tate (Greendale, Wis.) and Robyn A. A. Oldham (Milwaukee).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides novel antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof that bind to human CD30. Also presented are single chain variable antibodies, chimeric antigen receptors and uses thereof. Methods of treating cancer are also disclosed."
