ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,448,705, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to The Government of the United States of America, as Represented by the Secretary of the Navy (Arlington, Va.).
"Bacteriophage compositions and methods of selection of components against specific bacteria" was invented by James M Regeimbal (Washington's Crossing, Pa.), Biswajit Biswas (Germantown, Md.) and Matthew S. Henry (Thurmont, Md.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The subject matter of the instant invention relates to methods of compounding compositions comprising bacteriophage effective for treating bacterial infections, including but not limited to, multidrug resistant bacterial infections....
