ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,285,415, issued on April 29, was assigned to THE GEORGE INSTITUTE FOR GLOBAL HEALTH (Sydney).

"Compositions for the treatment of hypertension" was invented by Anthony Rodgers (Newtown, Australia) and Stephen Macmahon (Newtown, Australia).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are pharmaceutical compositions that are useful for the treatment of hypertension comprising an angiotensin II receptor blocker, a diuretic, and a calcium channel blocker."

The patent was filed on Aug. 8, 2023, under Application No. 18/446,268.
