ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,359,702, issued on July 15, was assigned to The Curators of the University of Missouri (Columbia, Mo.).

"Lattice-based metamaterials and methods of use" was invented by Guoliang Huang (Columbia, Mo.), Hussein Nassar (Columbia, Mo.), Yangyang Chen (Columbia, Mo.) and Xianchen Xu (Columbia, Mo.).
