ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,369,544, issued on July 29, was assigned to The Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas (Little Rock, Ark.).

"Rice cultivar 'ARoma 22'" was invented by Debra Ahrent Wisdom (Southaven, Miss.) and Karen A. K. Moldenhauer (Garnavillo, Iowa).
