ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,371,775, issued on July 29, was assigned to The Board of Trustees of The University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa, Ala.).

"Piston crank agitation mechanism for physical vapor deposition conformal coatings on powder" was invented by Jonathan Lake Priedeman (Northport, Ala.) and Gregory Bruce Thompson (Tuscaloosa, Ala.).
