ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,403,132, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to The Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University (Stanford, Calif.).

"Methods of treating bone marrow failure syndromes and compositions for use in the same" was invented by Kathleen Miho Sakamoto (Stanford, Calif.) and Mark Wilkes (Stanford, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods of treating a subject for a bone marrow failure syndrome, e.g., DBA, are provided.
