ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,508,296, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to The Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University (Stanford, Calif.).
"Use of annexin V as a method to block tumor induced immunosuppression of the innate immune response" was invented by Francis G. Blankenberg (Portola Valley, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods are provided for treating a subject with cancer, with a therapeutic dose of annexin V to the subject."
