ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,391,657, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to The Board of Regents of the University of Texas System (Austin, Texas) and UNIVERSITY OF PALERMO (Palermo, Italy).
